Liability and risks

The service as it is

We provide VideoPixo as it is and as it is available. We do our best to keep it running, but we guarantee no uninterrupted availability and no fixed processing time.

Maintenance, changes and outages at the services we depend on may interrupt the service temporarily.

Data read from a listing

What we read from a page — price, floor area, number of bedrooms, energy label — is a machine reading a page we did not build. There are errors in that.

That is why a check screen sits in between: everything we found is shown to you before anything is generated, with a green tick on what came from the listing. What you approve there is what goes into the video.

We are not liable for the consequences of data you confirmed yourself.

AI output

AI models are not predictable. The same input can produce something different twice over; a model can be wrong, invent something, or choose a phrasing that does not fit.

The models we use may be changed, replaced or discontinued by their suppliers. We then pick an alternative; the result may as a consequence feel different from before.

Review every video before you publish it. You are the sender.

What this service is not for

VideoPixo makes promotional material. It is not a source of legal, tax, structural or financial advice, and the video does not replace legally required disclosures in an advertisement.

Check for yourself whether your advertisement meets the rules that apply to your profession and your region.

What we do not compensate

We are not liable for indirect damage: lost profit, missed instructions, reputational harm, loss of data or consequential loss.

Nor are we liable for damage caused by third-party services, by force majeure, or by your publishing material you were not entitled to publish.

The limit of our liability

Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the damage.

That limit does not apply in the case of fraud, intent or gross fault on our side, nor for damage to life or physical integrity — the law permits no limitation there.

Storage and backups

We store your properties and videos carefully, but we are not an archive. Download a video you want to keep.

Force majeure

On events beyond our reasonable control — network or supplier outages, natural disasters, war, strikes, government measures — our obligations are suspended for as long as that situation lasts.
